- Ethernet over SONET/SDH: The Muxponder module series allows GbE and sub-GbE rates to be mapped over SONET/SDH using GFP-F or GFP-T as required offering a quick no-nonsense solution to carrier grade Ethernet transport.
- Optical Transport Network (OTN): BTI provides OTN integration across all services modules for a reliable transport mechanism that scales more cost effectively and efficiently than SONET/SDH. The integration of OTU2 digital wrapper technology within a carrier Ethernet switch module eliminates the needs for multiple modules that traditional solutions typically require.
- Fully Flexible Overlays: With BTI’s microWDM™ your legacy SONET/SDH can be overlaid over the same fiber infrastructure with your new generation Ethernet over SONET/SDH and/or Native Ethernet over CWDM or DWDM. This without affecting your current SONET/SDH network configuration. This allows you to select the best solution for each different service all over the same shared fiber ring.
