BTI 700 Series
The intelligent Carrier Ethernet solution
Deliver the services your customers are looking for at the level of quality they expect. The BTI 700 Series Carrier Ethernet solution has been designed for fiber based Carrier Ethernet access to businesses, schools, tower sites, and more. The 700 Series from BTI makes it easier to scale IP and Ethernet services while enforcing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through the use of extensive metrics, policing and metering capabilities. Tightly integrated with the BTI 7000 Series, the BTI 700 Series delivers efficient and flexible end-to-end carrier Ethernet networking solutions.

Rapid provisioning and delivery of Ethernet Services
Increase service scalability and benefit from a purpose-built demarcation solution that provides interface flexibility, the abilitity to tune service performance to application requirements, and high availability right from the edge of your network to meet stringent customer requirements.
Differentiated service levels
Combine multimedia communications, local area network (LAN) extension and intranet/internet traffic with standardized user network interfaces (UNIs) and service and traffic management allowing service definition on a per port, priority or VLAN basis. Differentiated service levels can be defined using prioritization, policing, shaping and flow control mechanisms.
Adapt to any environment
Network uplink ports provide dedicated, high-capacity interconnect at GbE and 10GbE rates, SFP and XFP network interfaces provide the versatility needed to adapt to any network environment, while combo network ports offer the flexibility to interface to either copper- or optical-based client premise equipment.
End-to-End service delivery
Full services interworking with the BTI 7000 packet optical networking platforms to extend service delivery infrastructure across metro and regional networks. The BTI 7000 Series’ integrated, MEF-certified packetVX™ packet service modules provide interconnect of Ethernet services without the need for separate Layer 2 Ethernet switches.
Converged network requirements
Leverage CWDM and DWDM ‘virtual fiber’ to reduce physical fiber infrastructure requirements and converge separate, service-specific networks. The BTI 700 Series can also easily share wavelengths with a BTI 7000 Series system, allowing for the development of flexible, end-to-end service network topologies.
Improved monitoring and testing
Take advantage of performance monitoring and testing capabilities that leverage standardized Ethernet in the first mile, connectivity fault management and a suite of optical and Ethernet protocol performance monitoring for extensive network and service visibility, remote fault diagnosis and service verification.
