Modular platforms to address diverse service requirements

The BTI 7000 Series delivers all the capabilities of large core networking platforms in the industry’s most compact, modular, easy-to-use packet optical networking system. BTI 7000 Series platforms leverage carrier-grade common equipment and support the entire portfolio of network building blocks; a modular design enables extreme versatility and the ability to adapt to a diverse range of network applications and environments.

BTI’s primary multiservice platform offers six service slots that support the BTI 7000 Series’ full portfolio of packet and client service modules and photonic network building blocks. The compact platform is 2 rack units (2RU) and is capable of extending up to ten 10Gbps wavelengths. The BTI 7060 can address a broad range of applications and solutions and has the capability of incorporating an extension shelf architecture to provide up to 24 service slots managed as a single network entity (NE).

BTI’s ultra compact multiservice platform offers 2 service slots; the 1 rack unit (RU) platform addresses lower service requirements and collocation deployments leveraging the BTI 7000 portfolio of packet and client service modules and photonic network building blocks.

BTI’s ultra compact passive platform offers 2 service slots in a 1 rack unit (RU) profile for use with all the BTI 7000 Series’ passive photonic network building blocks.
