Modular platforms to address diverse service requirements

The BTI 7000 Series is a family of carrier-grade, robust networking platforms.  Purpose-built to simplify and consolidate network layers through the integration of packet optical service delivery capabilities, the BTI 7000 Series is the industry’s most compact, modular,  easy-to-use packet optical networking system. 

All BTI 7000 platforms offer modular utility for service connectivity and infrastructure applications. The any-slot-any-module architecture enables provisioning and deployment of photonic, wavelength, and packet layer network modules to address diverse networking requirements and applications in a configuration that best fits your operational model.

BTI 7200

The newest addition to the BTI 7000 Series portfolio, the BTI 7200 provides a very dense optical private line and packet aggregation solution, supporting up to 380Gbps of 10G private line capacity over 100 GbE and 18 10GbE Carrier Ethernet ports, or a combination of optical and packet functionality, in a 7 Rack Unit (RU) form factor with 20 modular slots.

BTI 7060

The compact, high-density multiservice platform offering six service slots that support full portfolio of packet and client service modules and photonic network building blocks in a 2 RU form factor, supporting up to 100G of 10G private line capacity, 24 GbE ports and 4 10GbE Carrier Ethernet switched ports, or a combination of optical and packet functionality.

BTI 7030

An ultra-compact, edge demarcation platform offering two service slots that support packet and client service modules and photonic network building blocks in a 1 RU form factor, supporting up to 40G of 10G private line capacity or 12 GbE ports and 2 10GbE Carrier Ethernet switched ports.

BTI 7020

The ultra-compact, 1RU networking platform supports all passive photonic network building blocks and can act as an adjunct to all active (powered) networking platforms.

Expansion Shelf Architectures

Both the BTI 7200 and BTI 7060 platforms offer “pay-as-you-grow” expansion shelf architectures that enable deployment of multiple shelves, managed as a single network entity, designed to address high-density and aggregation solutions.
