BTI Attracts Industry Talent to form Advisory Board

Advisory Board to support BTI Systems' leadership team for continued growth and success.

Ottawa, Canada — Monday, June 15, 2009 // BTI Systems, a global supplier of Intelligent Service Edge systems today announced that it has created an Advisory Board. Chaired by Stephen Diamond, a 25 year veteran of the Telecommunications and Networking industry, the new Advisory Board will provide strategic counsel to the firm and help it continue to execute on its aggressive growth strategy.

Diamond was most recently a General Partner and Head of the Technology and Telecom investment practice for Sprout Group, a Private Equity affiliate of Credit Suisse, and earlier was Group Vice President and Worldwide Director of the Telecommunications and Networking practice for Dataquest/Gartner Group. Diamond is joined on the Board by industry veterans including Mike Dagenais, CEO of Continuous Computing; Marco Pagani, former President of Optical Ethernet Networks, Nortel; Helmut Berg, former President of the Communication Test and Measurement business of JDSU Uniphase; and Mel Keating, former President and CEO of Alliance Semiconductor Corporation.

The objective of the Advisory Board is to provide BTI's leadership team with actionable strategic counsel on emerging industry trends, global market and partnership opportunities, supply chain, competition, technology direction and alignment of the company's product strategy with market requirements.
