After completing a busy week at CompTel Spring 2012 in San Francisco this week, the highlight was most certainly the interest generated from several exciting new enhancements to our Mobile Backhaul, Ethernet Business Services and Data Center & Cloud Connectivity Solutions - including a new high-density 10GigE packet module for the BTI™ 7000 Series, availability of our 4D ROADM module, and a new modular BTI Service Access 810 platform supporting Ethernet and TDM service delivery.

CompTel was the culmination of a number of recent activities, including the launch on March 26 of our new corporate identity - one that reflects our commitment to innovation, our thought leadership and our established position in the market. This rebranding marks the Company's continued momentum as we enter a second exciting decade of growth, made possible by the close and valued relationships we have with our customers and partners around the world. During the past several weeks we announced our long-term partnership with the nation's largest provider of communications services focused on rural America – Frontier Communications - with details of their deployment of our complete suite of solutions, including our application-aware networking portfolio. We also issued a press release that Thailand-based KIRZ selected our Data Center Interconnect Solution to provide high–capacity, multi-protocol connectivity between their data centers. This announcement was released the same week we showcased many of our solutions at Mobile Backhaul Asia 2012 in Bangkok, Thailand.

We also kicked off a new monthly Webinar Series, which included "Deploying High-Scale, Low-Latency Solutions For Data Center & Cloud Applications", and "Optimizing Your Transport Network With 4th Generation ROADM Technology". Both of these archived webinars can be found on our website.

BTI Extends the Industr's First Integrated Services Delivery Platform with New Solutions for High-Growth Metro Applications

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA - COMPTEL PLUS SPRING 2012 CONVENTION & EXPO

BTI Systems announced new solutions to help service providers increase metro capacity, accelerate and monetize service delivery, simplify operations, and ensure SLA performance for Ethernet business, Mobile Backhaul and Data Center Interconnect and Cloud services.

The BTI packetVX 80, a new high-capacity Ethernet switching module for the BTI 7000 Series, and the BTI Service Access 810, a new member of BTI's access product portfolio, are significant enhancements to BTI's Integrated Services Delivery Platform. The Platform combines dynamically scalable packet optical capacity with application-aware intelligence and end-to-end service visibility to optimize the metro network. These solutions enable service providers to profitably keep pace with the rapid growth in high-demand services, including over-the-top (OTT) video, mobility, cloud computing and Ethernet business services.
