Overview:
Alternative Access Vendors (AAVs) are playing a critical role in the tremendous growth of the 3G and 4G market in the United States. But elsewhere in the world most mobile operators appear to have little choice other than to self-build their own backhaul or else lease it from their incumbent telco. This webinar will consider the booming mobile backhaul market opportunity from the perspective of alternative carriers in international markets. It will consider the business case for alternative carriers and the learnings from the U.S market and implications for other markets. It will also address the key technology requirements that can enable alternative carriers to offer a superior, lower-cost, solution for mobile backhaul compared with many conventional self-build and leasing models.
