Stephen Diamond

Chairman

Stephen Diamond has more than 25 years of experience in the Networking and Telecommunications industry, most recently serving as CEO of Reef Point Systems (now GenBand), a pioneer in solutions for Fixed/Mobile Convergence. Prior to Reef Point, Stephen was a General Partner and Head of the Technology and Telecom investment practice at Sprout Group, a $3 Billion Venture Capital and Private Equity affiliate of Credit Suisse. Before joining Sprout Group, Stephen was Worldwide Director of Telecommunications and Networking Research at Dataquest/Gartner Group where he built and headed the world’s largest industry analyst team covering the global communications industry. Stephen has also held positions including Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Retix, Director of Corporate Strategy and Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Ungermann-Bass, and Director of Strategic and International Marketing at Chipcom (acquired by 3Com). Stephen has served on the Boards of Directors of numerous public and private companies including Avici Systems (NASD:AVCI), Aurora Networks, Torrent Networking Technologies (acquired by Ericsson), NetCore Systems (acquired by Tellabs), Astralpoint (acquired by Alcatel), Internet Photonics (acquired by Ciena), Watercove (acquired by Alcatel), Omnisky (NASD:OMNY) and Optical Solutions (acquired by Calix).

Helmut Berg

Principal Consultant, HBC

Helmut Berg has more than 20 years of technical and executive management experience in the telecommunications, test and measurement and industrial automation industries. He is the Principal Consultant in his own executive management consulting firm, focused on business growth and operational effectiveness. Previously, Helmut served as President of JDSU's Communications Test Business addressing global test and management solutions for telecommunication field service operations, network operations centers and network equipment manufacturers. Helmut played a major role in the merger of TTC and Wavetek Wandel Goltermann to form Acterna which was later acquired by JDSU. Helmut joined TTC from Tektronix where he served as general manager of the measurement solutions division. He held management positions in engineering, marketing and general management in Honeywell's industrial controls business and was a professor of computer Science at the University of Minnesota and the Technical University of Berlin. Helmut currently serves on the Advisory Board of Empirix, the Board of Directors of LightRail Networks, LLC and is and Educator of the Gerson Lehrman Group Council. Prior engagements include the Board of Directors of the Association for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS).

He has a PhD in computer science from the University of Minnesota and completed the General Management Program at Wharton's School of Management.

Mike Dagenais

President and Chief Executive Officer, Continuous Computing

Mike Dagenais joined Continuous Computing as CEO in December 2006. He was most recently CEO and president of Optical Solutions, Inc., a market leading supplier of fiber to the home access solutions. Mike led Optical Solutions through a period of unprecedented growth, culminating in the successful acquisition of Optical Solutions by Calix Networks, a large telecom equipment supplier focused on access solutions for broadband service delivery. He brings over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including prior executive and management positions at Convergent Networks, Lucent, and Nortel.

Mike has a M.Eng. and a B.Eng. in electrical engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.

Marco Pagani

Executive Management Consultant

Marco Pagani has enjoyed a distinguished career as a senior leader in the telecommunications industry and currently focuses his efforts on providing advisory services as an Executive Management Consultant to numerous technology companies and to the Venture Capital Investor community. During an 18 year tenure at Nortel Networks, Marco developed and led many successful global business divisions, with his most recent position being President - Optical Ethernet Networks and Storage Solutions. He previously held the positions of President - Metro Optical, President Core Networks and General Manager - Carrier Data Networks. Marco is a recognized leader in the optical ethernet and storage markets, and has worked with service providers and industry stakeholders around the world to define service offerings and the requisite network and management infrastructure required to deliver on customer commitments.

Marco holds a Bachelors of Computer Science degree from Carleton University.

Melvin L. Keating

Advisor to hedge funds and private equity funds

Melvin Keating has over 20 years experience at executive level positions. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Semiconductor Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer and seller of semiconductors, from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2005, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Quovadx Inc., a healthcare software company. Melvin was employed as a Strategy Consultant for Warburg Pincus Equity Partners from 1997 to 2004, providing acquisition and investment target analysis and transactional advice. Melvin also was President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunbelt Management Company, a private, $1 billion in assets, real estate development firm, from 1995 to 1997. From 1986 to 1995, Mr. Keating was Senior Vice President, Financial Administration of Olympia & York Companies/Reichmann International, responsible for joint ventures, financial reporting and acquisitions. Currently, Melvin serves on the Boards of Directors of White Electronic Designs (WEDC), Phoenix, AZ; Aspect Medical Systems (ASPM), Norwood, MA; and LCC International, McLean, VA.

Melvin holds both M.S. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a B.A from Rutgers University where he played varsity Lacrosse.

Gregory Koss

Advisor

Gregory Koss is an industry veteran with over 28 years experience at executive level positions within the networking and communications industries. Previous to BTI Systems, Greg was CEO of SavaJe Technologies, developer of advanced Java-based mobile phone operating systems company (sold to Sun in 2007), Executive Chairman of Reef Point Systems,  provider of scalable security gateway solutions for the fixed mobile convergence market and a Consultant to Warburg Pincus in New York, a leading global private equity firm.

Prior to that, he was CEO of carrier-grade Optical Ethernet systems provider Internet Photonics, a spin-out of Lucent/Bell Laboratories, which was acquired by CIENA Corporation in 2004 and CEO of Sonoma Systems, which was acquired by Nortel Networks in 2000. Earlier in his career he held senior management positions within technology companies such as Andrew Corp., CrossComm (co-founder,IPO in 1992), Fibronics, Analog Devices and Proteon (co-founder). He holds a BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
